Description
Built and tested on Alpine ascents and the toughest roads of the North of England, the ALLROAD SL R e is a high-end endurance road bike with the added benefit of electric assistance. In the Sport specification, the ALLROAD SL R e is paired with the premium mechanical gear shifts of a Shimano 105 12-speed groupset, durable Mavic Allroad wheels, and 32mm Schwalbe Pro One tyres, with a unisex Selle Italia Model X saddle.
Groupset
Shimano’s first and only 12-speed mechanical groupset is the latest addition to their premium road family. Inspired by 105 Di2, this versatile drivetrain delivers the wide gear range, hand-friendly ergonomics, and all-condition braking confidence you’ve always craved. Developed from Shimano’s Science of Speed philosophy, 105 raises accessible performance to a whole new level.
Electric Motor System
With a 140 km range from a single charge (increasing to over 200 km with the optional range extender), the power is delivered smoothly as you pedal, yet powerful enough to propel you up the toughest climbs and across mixed terrains. The powerful MAHLE X20 motor provides 55Nm of torque and features a larger 350Wh capacity battery. The fully-featured system can be customised to kick in against pre-set parameters such as your heart rate, making the SL R e an ideal training partner if you’re building your fitness or recovering from injury.
Wheelset
Designed to ride faster and smoother on tarmac or dirt, you can ride anywhere with confident control thanks to a lightweight, durable, and responsive Mavic Allroad wheelset with an integrated motor. Paired with a Schwalbe Pro One Evo Super Race tyre aimed at cyclists looking for a balanced all-round tyre for fast, focused endurance rides.
Handlebars
LEVEL alloy handlebars provide a shorter drop and reach, ensuring swift transitions from the tops and hoods to the drops. Their ergonomic design means almost any rider can find their optimal ride position for enhanced comfort on rides of any distance. Wrapped in a comfortable bar tape and matched with an alloy handlebar stem.
Saddle
A narrow d-shaped carbon seat post introduces flex where it counts, helping take the edge off the roughest surfaces for a smoother ride while leaving you feeling fresh for longer. Paired with a Selle Italia Model X unisex saddle, which combines sustainability with uncompromising performance. Model X features a glue-less assembly; with gel padding and a Superflow cutout for all-day comfort.
